![]() ![]() MIDI Sysex can be send and that´s why I sold it. ![]() Good thing was it was programmable without software thus no The keys felt somewhat cheap but what would you expect at a price like this. Or you have to learn the hard way, like numerous reports in this forum have proofed.Īs for the MIDI controller, I once had the previous big version of the Oxygene, when M-Audio was Midiman, the 12 controllers version and it worked flawless. ![]() You may also try Kontakt!!!īTW: a basic advice: NEVER BUY ANY SOFTWARE WITHOUT DEMOING it FIRST!!!! I strongly suggest you download and try the DEMOS. And the MESA or AK_sys software I find pretty cool, too.Īnd you know that external hardware takes the load from your CPU? I don´t think your drums will get much tighter than this!!! On a Akai MPC perhaps. Just a thought however.īut I don´t see the need for Intakt, when you only want it for Drums, since you have the those 2 lovely AKAI Samplers. If you are after slicing.Ībleton in more versatile and cooler and the DIGI Edition even supports Rewire, no 2 channel RTAS restriction. Personally I would go for the RTAS plug-in bundle with Ableton from ebay for around $50. And it can be upgraded to Kontakt, too I think. But the new Kontakt version now includes that too. Intakt is only a sample slicing tool, as you mentioned, as Dr.Rex in Reason. I use it as a generic sampleplayer for Drums AND instruments and I am very satisfied the way it works for me. As it works great for me under OSX and RTAS (besides the general RTAS limitations) development plans are quite elusive. What makes it worthwhile however is the VAST Samplelibrary included and the Upgrade option to Kontakt.īattery is great IMHO IF yu can live with it as it is NOW. On the NI forums most Mac users bash about Kompakt, because it seems to be as CPU hog as reports for Mach5 or Sampltank indicate. ![]() I would just appreciate any advice, as I'm new to the whole MIDI and plug ins thang.Īs I presume you addressed me so kindly I will try to answer as polite as a good education will suggest. Does anyone have any experience with these plug ins (love e'm, hate 'em, problems)? German friend, you can be blunt here with me. Sweetwater suggested Kompakt or Intakt (for loops), and Battery (for drums) over ST. ![]()
